Not a room in a palace. The whole palace.

Haro has a small handful of historic palaces. Some have been converted into boutique hotels — you book a room, share the lobby with thirty other guests, and listen to someone else's anniversary at the next table during dinner.

Palacio de Manzanos is the opposite. It's a 1733 baroque palace that rents in full and in private to one group at a time. You don't share lounges, the cinema, the spa, the kitchen, the piano. The whole 350 m² building is yours from check-in to check-out, with concierge support whenever you want and complete silence when you don't.

Heritage

A Rioja family enterprise since 1890

The Manzanos family has been part of La Rioja's wine landscape since 1890, when Bodegas Manzanos was founded in Haro. More than 130 years and several generations later, the same family operates Palacio de Manzanos as a private hospitality experience — restoring an 18th-century landmark of the same town to share it with guests one group at a time.

Independent operation: Manzanos Habitat S.L. Not affiliated with any third-party winery in Haro.

Private palace Haro · FAQ

Frequently asked

Can you rent a private palace in Haro?

Yes. Palacio de Manzanos is a fully private 1733 baroque palace in the historic centre of Haro, La Rioja. Unlike the boutique hotels in town that sell rooms, the entire palace — 4 suites, 2 grand lounges, private spa, cinema, billiards, grand piano, gourmet kitchen — is reserved exclusively for one group of up to 8 guests.

What's the difference between a private palace rental and a hotel in Haro?

A boutique hotel in Haro (such as Hotel Palacio de los Ángeles, Eurostars Los Agustinos or Soho Boutique) sells individual rooms in a building shared with 30+ other guests. A private palace rental gives you the whole building, no shared spaces, no reception, no fixed schedules. You arrive with the keys, and the 350 m² palace is yours until you leave.

How many people can stay in this private palace?

Up to 8 guests in 4 ensuite luxury suites: 2 with King-Size beds (Suite Ático and Suite Chardonnay) and 2 with Queen-Size beds (Suite Viura and Suite Tempranillo). Perfect for families, multi-generational groups, small weddings, corporate retreats and friend reunions.

Is the private palace in central Haro?

Yes — Palacio de Manzanos is on Calle Prim 11, in the heart of Haro's historic centre. The Plaza de la Paz is two minutes away. The Barrio de la Estación (López de Heredia, Muga, CVNE, La Rioja Alta, Roda, Bodegas Manzanos) is a 10–15 minute walk. You don't need a car for the whole stay.

What does 'whole-palace exclusivity' include?

Everything inside the building, only for your group: 4 suites, 2 grand lounges (one with grand piano), formal dining for 12, gourmet kitchen with wine cellar, private cinema with 4K projector, billiards room, sauna, jacuzzi, gym (elliptical, treadmill, rowing machine, weights), and 24/7 access to all of it. No staff lurking in lobbies. No other guests at breakfast.

The whole palace. Your group only.
